Mr Mrinal Saharay is a General Surgeon in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.
Thyroid surgery, minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, colorectal surgery including procedure for prolapse and Haemorrhoids (Circular Stapled Haemorrhoidectomy), colonoscopy and gastroscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repair and minor operations.
In his endocrine practice, Mr Saharay specialises in thyroid surgery (including cancers), minimally-invasive parathyroid surgery and surgery for tumours of the parotid (salivary) gland.
In his colorectal practice, he performs all major bowel operations for both cancers and benign conditions.

Mr Saharay completed his basic medical training in India, before carrying out further surgical training in the North East Thames area. He is currently clinical lead for thyroid surgery at Queens Hospital, Romford and network lead for the North East Thames Cancer Network,where he was responsible for introducing improvements to the service.
