Clinical interests

Miss Narang specialises in general gynaecology and deals with following conditions: heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, irregular periods, primary and secondary amenorrhoea, postmenopausal bleeding, endometriosis, PCOS, ovarian cysts, early pregnancy problems abnormal smears and abnormal vaginal discharge. .

She also performs gynaecological ultrasound; screening for gynaecological cancer and diagnosis and management of ovarian cysts.

She undertakes the following procedures: hysterectomy, laparoscopy surgery for removal of ovarian cysts, salpingectomy for ectopic, diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy including removal of fibroids and polyps, using myosure and resectoscope, and endometrial ablation for surgical treatment for heavy periods.

Academic background

Miss Narang has international experience in this field and has completed structured training in both obstetrics and gynaecology in the well sought after London Deanery training programme. She subsequently developed special skills in Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology problems as a fellow at St George's Hospital, Tooting.

She also has a special interest in olposcopy, hysteroscopy, minimal access surgery and gynaecological ultrasound She is actively involved in risk management and clinical governance and has presented at national and international conferences.
