Miss Andrea Kerr is a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Milton Keynes who specialises in eye surgery.
Miss Kerr’s subspecialty interest in cornea and external eye disease includes the medical and surgical treatment of a wide range of pathology including corneal grafting for conditions such as Fuch’s endothelial dystrophy and keratoconus, pterygium excision with autografting, the medical management of herpetic eye disease as well as the treatment of dry eye, blepharitis and other lid conditions. Miss Kerr also performs the collagen cross-linking (C 3R) procedure which is used to treat the early stages of keratoconus and reduce progression of corneal thinning.
Miss Kerr’s other main interest is in refractive surgery and she is able to offer the most suitable and personalised vision correction procedure to nearly all patients who would like this. This includes toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal lens implants to correct distance and near vision, implantable contact lenses and conductive keratoplasty to correct reading vision.
